HDFC Bank EasyEMI Instant Discount Offer – Terms & Conditions

OVERVIEW:

The 10% Instant EMI Discount Offer (“Offer”) is a promotional offer administered and offered by HDFC BANK India Limited (“HDFC BANK”) in partnership with Reliance Retail Limited (“AJIO”) on www.Ajio.com (“AJIO Website”) and on AJIO mobile application (“AJIO Mobile App”) (collectively referred to as “AJIO Platform”) on purchase of specified products displayed on the Platform (“Specified Products”) using HDFC Bank Credit Cards on EMI transactions (“HDFC Cardholders”).

OFFER TERM/ PERIOD:

Unless terminated earlier as provided under the Agreement, this Offer shall be valid on commence starting from 8th June 2026 at [00:00:00 Hrs.] (“Offer Start Date”) and continue until 30th June 2026 at [23:59:00 Hrs.] (“Offer End Date”) for Credit Cards EMI Transaction or such other date and/or time as may be determined by AJIO at its sole discretion. The period starting from Offer Start Date until Offer end Date shall be referred to as Offer Term/ Period. During the Offer Period, there can be a blackout of the visibility of the Offer on AJIO Platform due to certain tactical business exclusivity reason.

ELIGIBILITY

This Offer is open to all individual legal residents of the Republic of India aged 18 or above (“Resident Individual”) on the Offer Start Date.
Each Resident Individual who is HDFC BANK Card holder and is AJIO customer with a valid phone number and e-mail address (“User”).

OFFER DETAILS:

10% Instant Discount Offer will be applicable on eligible HDFC BANK Cards (“HDFC Bank Credit Card EMI transactions”) only.
10% Instant Discount Offer will be available to HDFC Bank Card holders on usage of HDFC BANK Credit Cards EMI Transaction for purchase of Specified Products on the Platform on minimum order value of Rs 3,000 (“Minimum Order Value”) and up-to a maximum discount capped at Rs. 1,000 (“Maximum Discount Value”).
Minimum Order Value for determining eligible transactions shall not be subjected to partial return or partial cancellations during reconciliation process for billing purpose to HDFC BANK.
Subject to the terms contained herein, the Offer can be availed once times per eligible HDFC Bank Credit Card EMI transactions during the Offer Term but the total Maximum Discount Value per HDFC Bank Credit Card EMI transactions will be capped Rs 1000 and each transaction with the HDFC Bank Credit Card EMI transactions has to meet the Minimum Order Value of Rs 3,000 and above.

The User shall be eligible to avail the Offer only if the User fulfils the below conditions:

User makes payment for purchase of the Specified Products using selected HDFC BANK Cards, as may be determined by AJIO and/or HDFC BANK from time to time; and
The total value of a single order for purchase of Specified Products on the AJIO Platform is equal to or greater than Rs. 3,000.00, after taking into account all applicable discounts, if any.
Upon purchasing Specified Products in accordance with the above, eligible User shall receive an Instant Discount 10%, subject to a maximum of Rs.1000 on making payment using eligible HDFC BANK Cards.
For clarity, the maximum Instant Discount that can be availed under this Instant Discount Offer is Rs. 1000 per eligible HDFC BANK Card.
This Offer is not applicable on H&M branded products. H&M branded products are excluded from this offer.
The Offer is not applicable on purchasing of Gold and Silver Coins & Jewellery on the Platform.
This Offer is not applicable on the purchase of any Excluded Products. For the sake of these Offer terms and conditions Excluded Products means products displayed and sold on the AJIO Platform on which this Offer is not applicable. AJIO solely reserves the right to determine the nature of products that are Excluded Products for this Offer. For the clarity Excluded Products may include but is not limited to H&M branded products.
If the User fails to meet the Minimum Order Value/Amount/Requirement due to partial cancellation of the order, the User will no longer be eligible to avail the Bank Offer and Reliance reserves the right to reclaim and claw-back any discount amount that the User may have already availed.
Offer is valid only on HDFC Bank Credit Cards and not valid on Corporate or Commercial Cards.

The Instant Discount Offer cannot be combined with any other promotion offered by AJIO and/or HDFC BANK on AJIO Platform.

HDFC Bank EasyEMI Terms and Conditions –

Charges involved on a EasyEMI transaction -
1. Processing fees of INR 299 + GST
2. Gap Interest will be levied on First EMI calculated from the loan booking date to payment due date
3. GST will be levied on Processing Fee, Gap interest and Pre-closure fee as applicable
In the Case of No Cost EMI benefit offered by Merchants, the interest that will be charged by the Bank for the EMI transaction will be provided as upfront discount at the time of transaction or during the loan booking as applicable by the transaction mode.
Bank will continue to charge interest during the tenure opted by the customer at the annual interest rate by reducing balance method. In Monthly reducing balance cycle, the principle loan amount is reduced for every EMI paid and interest is calculated in the balance of outstanding principle loan amount to be paid.
In the event of customer preclosing/ cancelling EMI on an originally Credit Card EMI or Debit Card EMI transaction, 'Pre-closure Interest charges' + 3% Pre-closure Fee on principle Outstanding (as applicable) will apply at the time of all Pre-closures.
Benefits like payback / Instant discount etc offered by the merchant at the time of loan booking will be debited within 120 days of EMI closure. Cashback will be posted only those transaction for which loans are active as on posting date.

MISCELLANEOUS:

If the User who has availed the Instant Discount Offer, return all or part of the Specified Products purchased by them on the Platform, such that the value of their order falls below Rs. 3,000.00, they will not be eligible for return of purchased Specified Products. All products returned by the User shall be entertained solely as per AJIO’s prevailing product return policy.
The Offer shall also be subject to AJIO Platform terms and conditions including but not limited to Platform Terms and Conditions, Fees & Payments, Cancellations, Returns and Refunds, etc. and such additional terms and conditions as the Reliance may notify from time to time.
The Offer shall also be subject to such additional terms and conditions as AJIO may notify from time to time.

AJIO and/or HDFC BANK reserves the right to disqualify any transaction or extend, cancel, discontinue, prematurely withdraw, change, alter or modify this Instant Discount Offer or any part thereof including the eligibility criteria and other pertinent terms and conditions at their sole discretion at any time as may be required including in view of business exigencies and/or changes by a regulatory authority and/or statutory changes and/or any reasons beyond their control and the same shall be binding on the User without any prior notice to the User.
Purchases eligible for Instant Discount/ Cashback on HDFC Bank Credit Card will not qualify for Reward Points. The same will be reversed within 120 days of end of cashback posting month or end of offer month for Instant discount offers.
Participation in this Instant Discount Offer is purely voluntary.
This Instant Discount Offer is for a limited period and can be withdrawn by AJIO at any point of time, including after it has been announced and the same shall be binding on the User without any prior notice to the User.
AJIO does not assume any liability whatsoever arising out of this Instant Discount Offer. Maximum liability of AJIO is limited only to the value of the minimum billing amount of the Instant Discount Offer.
Instant Discount Offer is subject to discontinuation or revocation in cases of fraudulent/ suspicious transaction or if there are any technical glitches or force majeure conditions as determined solely by AJIO and may disqualify any User from getting the benefits of this Instant Discount Offer.
AJIO will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, direct, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits) expense or damage which is suffered or sustained in connection with this Instant Discount Offer including any loss incurred as a result of any delay and/or failure to perform any obligation to the Users that is caused by:
1. technical problems of any kind which may limit or prevent any person's participation in this Instant Discount Offer;
2. any loss or damage arising from or in connection with the allocation or enjoyment of discount;
3. any other events beyond AJIO's control that may cause the promotion to be disrupted or corrupted or may lead to loss of, or damage to, the User.
AJIO (including employees, directors) shall not be liable or held responsible for any inactivated HDFC BANK Cards or any lack or lapse in any communication on account of failure or delay by any of the internet, telecom, SMS and emails service providers.
User hereby agrees to indemnify and keep AJIO harmless against all damages, liabilities, costs, expenses, claims, suits and proceedings that may be suffered by AJIO as a consequence of (i) violation of the terms and conditions by the User; (ii) violation of applicable laws; (iii) any action or inaction resulting in willful misconduct or negligence on the User’s part.
User agrees that, these terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India and courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra shall have exclusive jurisdiction to decide over any controversy arising out of this Instant Discount Offer.
In case of returns & cancellations of the orders on which the said Instant Discount, Offer have been availed using the selected HDFC Credit Cards, the Instant Discount Offer will not be applicable again while making a purchase on AJIO with the same cards used before for availing the Offer during the Term of the Offer.
The offer is an instant discount and will be provided upfront at the time of purchase.
HDFC Bank holds out no warranty or makes no representation about the quality, delivery or otherwise of the services offered by the partner. Any dispute or claim regarding the services/offers must be resolved by the Card Holder/s with the partner directly without any reference to HDFC Bank.
HDFC Bank shall not be liable in any manner whatsoever for any loss/ damage/ claim that may arise out of use or otherwise of any goods/ services / assured gifts / gift vouchers availed by the Card Holder/s under the said Offer offered by the partner
HDFC Bank shall not be held liable for any delay or loss that may be caused in delivery of the services.
This Offer is made available to the Customers selected at the discretion of HDFC Bank.
The offer cannot be combined with any other offer
If promo code is mentioned as part of the communication (please refer Offer details tab) then customer has to use the code to avail the offer; in case the code is not used Discount/ Cashback cannot be credited back to customer at a later date.
Any person availing this offer shall be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions.
HDFC Bank reserves the right, at any time, without prior notice and without assigning any reason whatsoever, to add/alter/modify/change or vary all these terms and conditions or to replace, wholly or in part, this offers by another offer, whether like this offer or not, or to extend or withdraw it altogether.
Eligible benefits for this promotion (such as Reward points / cashback) will only be posted to accounts that are active at the time of postings.
Benefits will not be posted on credit card accounts which are permanently delinquent or closed at the time of posting.
Benefits will also not be posted on retail credit card accounts that are flagged for working capital usage.
HDFC Bank Cardholders are not bound in any way to participate in this offer. Any participation is voluntary, and the offer is being made purely on a best effort basis.
Nothing herein amounts to a commitment by HDFC Bank to conduct further, similar, or other offers.
This offer is non-cashable, not extendable, and non-negotiable.
Purchases eligible for Instant Discount/ Cashback on HDFC Bank Credit Card will not qualify for Reward
The same will be reversed within 120 days of end of cashback posting month or end of offer month for Instant discount offers.
If a card member has more than 1 (one) HDFC Bank Credit/Debit Card, spends on the cards cannot be clubbed by the card member to qualify for the said offer.
The above offer is by way of a special offer co-funded by the Bank & Merchant for select HDFC Bank Credit/Debit Cardholders only and nothing contained herein shall prejudice or affect the terms and conditions of the card member agreement. The terms of the above schemes shall be in addition to and not in derogation of the terms contained in the card member agreement.
All disputes, if any, arising out of or in connection with or because of above offers or otherwise relating hereto shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts / tribunals in Mumbai only, irrespective of whether courts / tribunals in other areas have concurrent or similar jurisdiction.
Any query regarding the program will be entertained till 60 days from the posting date. After said date the Bank will not entertain any correspondence or communication regarding this Program from the cardholder.
Any Tax, service charge or other charges levied with regards to the Promotional Offer, may be borne by the Card Holder / winner.
